The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) takes the lead in opening green spaces on campus, providing the community with a place to relax, connect, and enjoy nature in the heart of the city. Not only serving as a retreat for UEH students, lecturers, partners, and students from other universities, this initiative also demonstrates UEH's commitment to building a sustainable living environment, enhancing urban landscapes, and improving quality of life.
Accompanying the younger generation in the process of choosing a field, choosing a career, and developing a career path, UEH organizes the Campus Tour program - a series of visits, career counseling, and career tests for high school students. This is not only an opportunity for high school students to learn about how to choose schools and majors, along with admission information, but also a chance for them to experience the dynamic and modern learning environment at UEH, helping them to clearly perceive the sustainable vision the school is aiming for. When visiting the green spaces at UEH, you can envision not just a place for studying but also a place close to nature, bringing balance to both learning and living. Through the cool green areas, UEH wants to convey the message of a sustainable lifestyle, the harmony between humans and the environment, and the importance of awareness in protecting green living spaces. This is UEH's commitment to building an educational environment not only for learning but also for comprehensive physical and mental development.
In 2023, UEH coordinated with Tuoi Tre newspaper and the Higher Education Department (Ministry of Education and Training) to organize the 2023 Enrollment Counseling and Career Guidance Program "Together with Children into the Future" (on April 16, 2023), attracting nearly 1,500 parents from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces. In addition to the consultation sessions with experts, UEH also brings a special career guidance exhibition space to help parents better understand the 51 multi-disciplinary training programs at UEH. At the Vinh Long Campus, UEH organized campus tours for many high schools such as: Hoang Thai Hieu High School, Tam Binh High School, Ethnic Boarding High School - Vinh Long, and Nguyen Minh Quang High School - Hau Giang (February 12, 2023), Binh Minh High School and Long Phu Secondary-High School - Vinh Long (February 26, 2023), Tan Quoi High School, Dong Thanh Secondary-High School, Tan Luoc High School, My Thuan High School – Vinh Long (February 25, 2023 – March 12, 2023), Luu Van Liet High School, Nguyen Thong High School – Vinh Long (March 16, 2023).

UEH welcomes businesses, partners, alumni, and visitors to experience the modern facilities integrated with unique green spaces within the campus. Through these tours, businesses, partners, and alumni can gain a better understanding of the green and clean vision that UEH is pursuing, while also opening up opportunities for collaboration on joint projects for environmental protection and community development.
UEH Tour Alumni is a special program for alumni, providing an opportunity to return to their alma mater and explore the inspiring green spaces that UEH has developed. During this tour, the alumni not only got to admire the green and nature-harmonious campus but also felt the school's commitment to sustainable development. Modern green spaces, friendly to the environment, have become a special highlight, creating a UEH that is close-knit, dynamic, and creative. This is also an opportunity for alumni to connect with teachers and friends, seek collaboration opportunities, and make meaningful contributions to future generations of students, continuing to build UEH stronger and stronger. In 2023, UEH welcomed alumni from the 18th, 19th, and 25th classes back to visit the school with activities such as tours, sports, and gatherings program at campuses B and N.

In addition, the English Zone - UEH's outdoor English park - is also open to welcome not only UEH students but also students from other universities in the city. This is an ideal environment for interaction, practicing English, and cultural exchange, helping students confidently develop their language skills in an open and diverse communication space. These initiatives not only contribute to enhancing the cultural and academic life of students but also promote connection and sharing within the community.

The initiative to open green spaces at UEH is not merely an act of sharing space but also an important step in building community awareness and a sustainable lifestyle. These cool green areas will become places for gathering and relaxation, and serve as a testament to UEH's commitment to creating a clean, green city that is friendly to both people and the environment. This is not only a gift for students and residents, but also a hope for a cleaner and more sustainable urban future.
