UEH 2024 Career Fair Successfully Offers Thousands of Internship and Job Opportunities to Students and Workers

“UEH Career Fair” is an annual activity organized by University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City to orient students to their careers, to improve their skills to integrate into the labor market; concurrently, creating opportunities for businesses to approach and recruit potential young human resources. In 2024, the UEH Career Fair series was successfully organized in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta, bringing thousands of career opportunities to students and workers.

In 2024, UEH Career Fair was expanded with 3 rounds: 2 rounds in Ho Chi Minh City and 1 round in UEH Vinh Long as the demand for jobs of students and workers is higher, and the demand for human resources of businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta is increasing.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the first phase of UEH Career Fair 2024 was held in March 2024, bringing more than 5,000 job opportunities to students and workers in the surrounding area; the second phase took place from October 29 to November 3, 2024, directly at UEH campus (279 Nguyen Tri Phuong, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City) and online on the platforms event.cixiu99.com and vieclam.cixiu99.com with the participation of more than 30 prestigious businesses. Recruitment activities in many fields of the above businesses have brought more than 2,000 attractive job positions to students and workers in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring areas. Recruitment is carried out in-person (1-1 interviews) at the program and online on the platforms event.cixiu99.com and vieclam.cixiu99.com.

Along with that is a series of activities to help students and workers have a comprehensive view of current recruitment trends, as well as the necessary skills to adapt to the 4.0 labor market listed as the workshop "Understanding the right industry leading to success in finding a job"; Workshop "Self-mastery and stress balancing skills"; CV editing consulting activities; OPEN MIND Unitour: "Local materials - Viral creative trends"; Prospective Internship: "How much are you worth"; Talkshow: "Gen Z - Do what you LOVE or LOVE what you do"; and mock interviews with experts.

Workshop "Understanding the right industry leading to success in finding a job"

In the Mekong Delta, UEH Career Fair was held at UEH Vinh Long on October 25, 2024 with the accompaniment and participation of 25 agencies and enterprises participating in recruitment in many fields listed as Banking, Real Estate, Education, Media, Agriculture, Tax, etc. Through the program, students had access to a real environment, developed professional skills and accumulated valuable experience when interviewing with businesses; concurrently, they were recruited for internships and jobs at businesses in Vinh Long.

This year, the program is specially organized twice a year in both Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta, showing that the practical values that the program has brought over the past 27 years have been recognized by the community and is also proof that action for education and knowledge is the start of a pioneering community acting for sustainable development” - remarked Assoc.
