UEH Successfully Achieving the 25th Euréka Award 2023

On November 24, 2023, at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Thu Duc Campus), the 25th Euréka Award took place. The student group from University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) excellently received 5 awards in the fields of Economics and Planning and Architecture and Construction.

The 25th Euréka Research Award for Students 2023 was implemented from July 2023 to November 2023. The award attracted 1,509 projects from 134 Universities, Colleges, and Institutes, including 45 schools in Ho Chi Minh City and 89 schools in other provinces and cities nationwide. A total of 178 best topics were awarded, including 14 first prizes, 14 second prizes, 19 third prizes and 131 consolation prizes. The total prize value was about over 398 million VND.

Coming to the 25th Euréka Research Award for Students 2023, UEH participated with 27 topics in the fields of Economics; Information technology; Education; Planning, Architecture and Construction; and Administrative and legal. This is the first year that UEH has a topic participating in the fields of Planning, Architecture and Construction, showing that University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City has a multi-disciplinary orientation. Of which, UEH had 05 topics that entered the final round of discussion and excellently won 05 prestigious awards including 01 Third Prize and 04 Consolation Prizes in the fields of Economics and Planning and Architecture and Construction.

The third prize went to the topic "The influences of information security governance on firm performance: An urgent consideration for Vietnamsese managers" by the student group of Nguyen Truc Hoai Mang and Tran Thu Yen under the supervision of Dr. Nguyen Phuoc Bao An.

The topic “Pháp luật về người chuyển tải sản phẩm quảng cáo trên mạng xã hội tại Việt Nam - Thực trạng từ mạng xã hội Tiktok” by a students group of Tran Hoang Minh Triet, Pham Nguyen Phuong Thy, Trao Chung Thuy Vy with the supervision from Mr. Mai Nguyen Dung won the Consolation prize.

The group of students with the topic “Pháp luật về người chuyển tải sản phẩm quảng cáo trên mạng xã hội tại Việt Nam - Thực trạng từ mạng xã hội Tiktok”

The topic "Protecting the right to motherhood of female workers from the perspective of labor law and social insurance law in Vietnam" by the student group of Tran Tuyet Anh, Luu Thi Thu Trang, Trinh Ngoc Bao Tram with the supervision of Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Thi Phuong Diep.

The topic “Does the metaverse education application platform have the potential to transform learning form in educational institutions in the future?” by the student group of Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, Ho Thi Tam Dieu, Tran Thi Le Na, Le Hieu Ngan, Thai Ngoc Bich Tram with the supervision of Dr. Dinh Tien Minh.

The topic "Game brand coolness: Understanding the perceived brand coolness and its implications for brand love and brand loyalty for Generation Z in Vietnam in the context of game brand" by the student group of Tang Le Thanh Hung, Le Huy Hoang, Mai Trung Kien, supervisor: Dr. Le Thanh Truc, won the Consolation prize.

UEH's journey of creating common value is not only providing professional knowledge but also focusing on developing comprehensive capabilities for students. UEH students are encouraged to become creative, autonomous, and capable of creating values for the community. Although there are many difficulties encountered in the process of inquiry and research, with burning passion and extremely high determination, the students tried their best and brought UEH five prestigious awards at the Euréka Research Award for Students 2023.
