University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) is embarking on a new journey with many challenges called “Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University”. This is a journey that requires pioneering and continuous efforts from each individual and collective of UEH.
In order to recognize the efforts of UEHers, in recent years, the emulation and reward at UEH have honored outstanding collectives and individuals and truly motivated all officials and employees in working and dedicating to the school. Promoting this spirit, this year, UEH conducted a vote and honored collectives and individuals who won the titles and awards of the year including: "Department of the Year"; "Lecturer of the Year"; "Manager of the Year"; "Employee of the Year"; and "Outstanding Scientific Research of the Year" Awards. On the morning of April 7, 2023, at Hall A.103, UEH solemnly held a ceremony to honor individuals and units that won titles and awards, recognizing the great contributions of lecturers, officials and employees.

In addition, on the morning of May 18, 2023, at Campus 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held a conference to review 2 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement Direction No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the 12th Politburo on “Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" and to commend and reward outstanding and typical collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle (May 2022-May 2023). Besides, the conference aims to timely commend and reward collectives and individuals who have done well in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle on the occasion of the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1980 - May 19, 2023).

In addition to the activities according to functions and tasks such as protecting legitimate rights and interests, taking care of the lives of employees, communicartions and education, and inspection and supervision, UEH Union has organized diverse and meaningful activities for former employees, ensuring equality, fairness and creating cohesion with positive values to union members and employees. Typical activities in 2023 include UEH Traditional Sports Festival for Employees 2023; English Karaoke Contest "UEH EngKara Idol 2023"; Coffee Talks & Board Games English exchange activities in 2023; the program "Accompanying UEH to take care of bright and healthy eyes"; dissemination session on policies, training and fostering regimes for employees and staff; UEH STEAM Festival for staff’s children with the theme “Creative Art Design - Childhood Moments” and “Technology Experience with Robots”; organizing the “Decorative Lighting Design” Competition and the Family Festival “Dreaming of a Fairyland”, etc.
