The International School of Business, a member of the UEH, organized a Press Conference to introduce "MBA Talent Scholarship" on 17th June 2014. This program is collaborated between ISB (the UEH) and the University of Western Sydney (UWS, Australia), which offers 20 full MBA scholarships for outstanding students; with the total value up to 300,000 USD.
The event was in great honor to welcome the Australian Consul General John McAnulty; the UEH’s Present Prof. Nguyen Dong Phong; representatives from local companies, multinational corporations, together with the press.
This is a new MBA program in Vietnam with the highlight of close connection between students and practical business environments. Under the supports of corporations such as Unilever, Nestlé, LG, Standard Chartered, GroupM and CareerBuilder, the sharing of real case studies and offering internship opportunities would be a great advantage for MBA students. Thus, the scholarship might open a new knowledge horizon to students when they can both learn and practice within a international and professional environment, and would become a talent leader for Vietnam economy development.
There are two stages in the program, with 10 modules and a final project. Students need to complete the first phase in six months, then can continue the second one which allow student to work in a company as an official staff. The final MBA program's result will be considered according to the probation evaluation and the project completion. This program selects students who graduated from local and international university with GPA from 7.0 and IELTS 6.5 or equivalent with the acceptance of a company.
