The graduation ceremony of Vietnam - Netherlands MA programme 2016

The Vietnam - The Netherlands Programme (VNP) for Master in Development Economics (MDE) was officially organized in 1994 in Vietnam within the framework of the joint graduate training project in development economics between universities of Vietnam and the Netherlands funded by the government of the Netherlands. The project has been conducted by the International Institute of Social Sciences ISS (of Eramus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands) and University of Economics Hochiminh City (UEH). Over the years, Vietnam - the Netherlands Programme has become one of the renowned master training programmes in the country.

In the morning of Jan 1, 2017, at 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu Campus, VNP held a graduation ceremony for 50 new masters in 2016.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Mr Simon Van Der Burg - Consul General of Consulate General of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Hoai - Vice President of UEH; and leaders from many UEH divisions, lecturers of the programme, new masters of the programme and their relatives.
