- Speaker: Prof. Hsing-Hao Wu, National of Kaohsiung University (Taiwan)

Hsing-Hao Wu is Professor of Department of Financial and Economic Law, National University of Kaohsiung (NUK), Taiwan. His teaching and research fields encompass the comparative environmental law and policy, international trade and environmental law, and technology safety law. Professor Wu has been the Director of International Relation Research Center of NUK since 2013. He has organized numerous workshops and guest lectures mostly in the area of environmental law, trade and innovative technology governance issues.

His recent research and publication focuses on climate change impacts to environment, economic, and society as a whole and their potential legal and institutional responses in the context of water resource management, flood control, disaster management, and energy transition. Professor Wu is also a frequent speaker to many international conferences and academic events such as at the European University Institute (Florence), Hokkaido University (Sapporo), Chinese Hong Kong University, Wuhan University, and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman.

Prof. Hsing-Hao Wu will share about zero net emissions, carbon pricing, carbon trading program, energy transition, ecological conservation, as well as the economic and social impacts of implementing energy transition policies and other carbon-related activities in Taiwan.
