The School of Tourism prides itself on the quality of its educational program, the professionalism of its staff, the efficiency of its cooperation network, and the enthusiasm of its students.
Originally the Tourism division from the School of Commerce - Tourism - Marketing, the School of Tourism was eventually formed into its own entity whose mission is to pursue higher education and applied research. The SOT aims to use our knowledge and expertise in hospitality, travel, and tourism through long-term partnerships with companies, cities and provinces to carry out research and stimulate exchange of knowledge.
Our team includes dedicated lecturers and researchers from various disciplines in tourism and hospitality. Besides their academic standing as a PhD or Master’s specialized in tourism and management, all of them used to work for the industry for many years before transitioning to higher education, which enables the combination of theoretical and practical courses to be delivered to our students.
We also have a strong network of visiting lecturers from other highly-developed countries such as The Netherlands, France, etc., and other high-profile entrepreneurs in the field, who often actively engage in guest lecturing, applied research, and consultation work with us.
