The new point of UEH's comprehensive scholarship policy is to expand support to various undergraduate students in different modes, from full-time study; transferring; part-time study; transferring from college; and part-time transferring from intermediate schools.
This comprehensive policy is developed on the foundation of the success of the annual scholarship program for students of the 1st Degree of the UEH, which is an effective source of financial support meeting the right targets at the right time and encourages continuous efforts from learners.
Diverse forms of scholarships to accommodate students
Along with expanding the scholarship, the new policy with 06 types of scholarships aims at different target groups, including:
Opportunity to realize the dream of lifelong learning
UEH's new scholarship policy with the message "Unlock Dreams: Lifelong Learning, Limitless Future" demonstrates UEH's efforts in providing lifelong learning opportunities for all students so that they can access high-quality education, develop comprehensively and equally reach their dreams and grasp their own future.
With timely and appropriate financial support, the scholarship policy will help students have the motivation to study, to research, to proactively seize opportunities, and to equip themselves with the necessary knowledge and skills to achieve their goals, thereby, creating a dynamic learning community with each individual constantly developing and making positive contributions to the community and society.
“With the UEH Multidisciplinary and Sustainable strategy, we strive to build many policies to support the complete learning journey of learners, before, during, and after graduation. The new scholarship policy is how we meet the sustainable development goals for learners, specifically, aiming at 3 sustainable development goals: creating opportunities for learners from different backgrounds (SDG1), building equitable access to education, creating motivation to improve learners' achievements (SDG4) and connecting the community for education (SDG17).” - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung - Vice President of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City - remarked.
UEH's new scholarship policy will officially be effective from the last semester of 2024 (from August 2024). This is an important step to open up more opportunities for students, creating an environment for them to confidently assert themselves in terms of academic results and positive pioneering attitudes in all activities.
