UEH President signed the cooperation agreement between Vietnam - Korea Global Business Administration program with FKI Federation and discussed new cooperation opportunities with Soongsil University.

From 19 to 21 November, 2019, the Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. Ho Chi Minh (UEH) by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - President led with Dr. Tran Mai Dong - Head of Department of Research Administration - International Relations attended the signing ceremony to develop the "Vietnam - Korea Global Business Administration" program between UEH and the International Management Academy ( IMI) under the Korean Industrial Federation (FKI). On the occasion of this Korean trip, the UEH Delegation worked to discuss the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on training and scientific research, especially the Financial Technology program (Fintech) with Soongsil University. (South Korea).

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Young June Park - Former Minister of Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy - Former Deputy Chief of Korean Cabinet Office, Mr. Tae-Shin Kwon - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Korean Business Federation, Mr. Bong - Man Kim - General Secretary of IMI.

In the afternoon of November 20, 2019, at FKI Tower (Korea), two leaders of UEH and the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). The memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation between Korea and Vietnam in general and businesses of the two countries in particular. Especially, the signing of the cooperation program to develop the "Vietnam - Korea Advanced Management" training program is a launching pad for Vietnamese businesses to enter the global market successfully, based on the experiences of the Korean corporations (Samsung, LG, SK, ..) and prestigious teaching in the field of economics and administration of UEH.

Accordingly, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City(UEH) is responsible for the promotion and enrollment of the Vietnam-Korea Advanced Management Program in March 2020, running the program in Vietnam, arranging senior lecturers on administration. The business participates in the teaching and selection of excellent Vietnamese business people, ...

The Korea International Institute of Management (IMI) has set up a training program, organized a field trip in Korea, and invited former leaders of leading Korean corporations such as Samsung and LG. , SK, ... shared with Vietnamese businesses.

On November 29, 2019, the launch event of the training program "Vietnam - Korea Advanced Management " will be held at campus A (UEH) with the participation and sharing of Tien Un-Chan Chung - Former Korean Prime Minister, Dr. Young June Park - Former Vice Minister of Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy - Former Deputy Chief of Cabinet of Korean Government Cabinet, Representative of Korean Embassy and leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and its departments and neighboring provinces.

UEH delegation at Korea International Institute of Management (IMI)

On November 20-21, 2019, the UEH delegation also visited Soongsil University. Here, the leaders of the two universities discussed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on student and lecturer exchange; research cooperation; introduce the new Research Fellowship program of UEH; co-organize an international scientific conference; cooperation of Financial Technology training program between Soongsil University and UEH School of Business Information Technology.
