Continuing the success in recent years, the "Learning Credit at UEH" in 2023 for K49 new students has officially taken place to facilitate conditions for learners to borrow at the lowest, most competitive interest rates with simple procedures, diversifying banking products, and limiting risks of partner banks.
Recently, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has developed and implemented the "Learning Credit" program in 2023 for new K49 full-time students at the Ho Chi Minh City campus and Vinh Long campus. The "Learning Credit" program 2023 is deployed with banks in 2 forms including:
"Tuition loan" program: for K49 students who need to borrow to pay tuition for the last semester of 2023 and have not participated in loans from other credit institutions. The maximum loan term is 3 months; UEH supports interest rates for 130 students (100 for students studying in Ho Chi Minh City, 30 for students studying at Vinh Long Campus) according to the lowest interest rate (8.8%/year) applied at participating banks to support students.
"Tuition installment payment via bank credit card" program: supports tuition installment payment with a 0% interest rate in the form of credit card issuance. The school will support the installment conversion fee for 130 students (100 for students studying in Ho Chi Minh City, 30 for students studying at Vinh Long Campus) according to the lowest installment conversion fee between banks 1.5%, the difference is directly paid by the students to the bank when it is due. The 3-month installment term has 0% interest rate; the Installment conversion fee is at 1.5%, 1.76%, and 2.3% (depending on the bank); and free annual fees for the first year. If the number of students registered exceeds the number offered, the school will review the applications. The school and banks only approve one form of credit for each student at one bank.
Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB), Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank), Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank), and Vietnam Import Export Commercial Joint Stock Bank are partners accompanying UEH in the "Learning Credit" program in 2023 with the desire to together bring worthy values to learners, fair opportunities to experience intellectual values and self-development for each individual.
With the Learning Credit program, UEH students receive timely financial support from the University during their studies until graduation, helping learners feel secure in spending and managing their study time, and working hard to to cover their living expenses. This is also the motivation for them to try to study and improve themselves. Besides the Learning Credit program, learners also experience other support policies of UEH listed as scholarship programs to support learning, tuition reduction policies, policies for unexpected situations, etc. that always accompany them.
