Ho Chi Minh City Internship and Employment Day, an annual activity organized by University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) organization, aims to orient career, to cultivate practical integration skills for students and is an opportunity for businesses to find young human resources and potential candidates. In 2021, in order to continue connecting students with employers and businesses, on December 25-26, 2021, UEH organized “Ho Chi Minh City Internship and Employment Day 2021 - UEH VIRTUAL CAREER FAIR 2021”, with many attractive activities: workshops, seminars, online recruitment activities, talk-shows, consultancy and so on, attracting nearly 40 leading employers and more than 200 position corresponds to 2,000 recruiting personnel, through 36 virtual reality booths through direct online form in combination on many application platforms suitable to the current epidemic context. This 2021 Fair for UEH students, non-UEH students from universities and colleges and young human resources in Ho Chi Minh City has attracted nearly 7,000 attendees in all programs and activities.

Speaking at Opening ceremony, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - Rector of UEH - shared: “With this new organizational form, 23rd Ho Chi Minh City Internship and Employment Day in 2021 has received a lot of attention and expectations from businesses in recruiting high-quality human resources. UEH does believe that, with modern virtual reality technology, this 2021 Fair will remove all limitations, opening various doors of practical opportunities in connecting between Universities - Students - Employees - Enterprises recruitment and employment. Applying modern technology to assist students with approaching employers
With a positive spirit, proactively adapting to the context, ensuring safety in COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control while creating favorable conditions for recent graduates and young workers to have the opportunity to approach leading employers, UEH has soon made flexible and effective changes in the form of organizing 23rd Ho Chi Minh City Internship and Employment Day Fair in 2021 will be directly combined online on many application platforms.
This is the first time that UEH has brought a virtual space - real interaction throughout Fair activities. In addition to online recruitment activities at enterprises’ 3D booths, Fair Organizing Committee has launched online recruitment activities through UEH Job Portal. Here, all recruitment and application submission transactions with businesses will be conducted quickly and efficiently. What is more, 2021 Fair also organizes various interesting contents, listing as: workshops, seminars, mock interview programs, English Zone activities and so on to help attendees develop themselves, gain experience and prepare themselves for the event in order to enter the challenging labor market.
With an online format using 2D and 3D-enabled projection technology, 2021 Fair was built to provide the best interactive experience for attendees while providing an opportunity to access a young and high-quality workforce for reputable employers, as a result, they can learn about job needs and Ho Chi Minh City job market.

23rd Ho Chi Minh City Internship and Employment Day Fair in 2021 has attracted nearly 40 leading enterprises and employers with hundreds of vacancies in diverse fields as follows: finance, accounting, consumer goods, consulting, production, trade, etc. technology and services and so on. Coming to 2021 Fair, attendees will have access to more than 200 vacancies with the number of recruiting up to more than 2,000 employees through 36 3D virtual reality booths on //event.cixiu99.com/ that is officially opened on December 25-26, 2021.
Thanks to organizing exhibitions of online recruitment booths, businesses and candidates have an interactive environment to exchange with each other conveniently and quickly. Furthermore, enterprises have organized activities to introduce the company and career opportunities for interested candidates on Microsoft Teams platform. Online one-to-one interviews have helped businesses find and choose suitable candidates for their businesses. Along with UEH students’ intense interest as well as additional non-UEH students from other universities and colleges and young human resources in Ho Chi Minh City, this program has attracted more than 2,000 attendees.
