UEH College of Economics, Law and Government organizing a welcome ceremony for new students of Batch 49

Joining the bustling atmosphere to welcome new students of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), UEH College of Economics, Law and Government (CELG) organized a series to welcome new regular K49 students. The welcome session is an opportunity for first-year students to interact and meet with the teaching staff of the faculties, opening the four-year journey of experiencing and discovering themselves at UEH.

The welcome session for new students is an opportunity for schools to introduce their majors as well as guide learning and teaching methods in the university environment, helping students easily integrate and connect with lectures. In addition, Clubs, Teams, and Groups under UEH also design a variety of activities to introduce their functions and welcome a new generation of dynamic and creative members. Participating in Clubs, Teams, and Groups gives new students the opportunity to learn, develop social skills, expand their network of relationships, and develop necessary soft skills for themselves. Many orientation and experience-sharing activities for new students have been implemented to understand students' needs and provide support measures for students with difficult circumstances to integrate into the classroom and become equal with everyone.

The School of Law organizing activities to welcome new students - Taking off

On September 16, 2023, the School of Law organized an activity to welcome new K49 students to the school. Within the framework of the program, new students had the opportunity to meet, interact with each other and share their reasons for pursuing Law. At the same time, they received advice from lecturers regarding UEH's training program and career opportunities after graduation. In addition, the previous batch of students who were excellent individuals and the pride of the School of Law shared to the new K49 students some effective study tips and extracurricular activities (spring volunteering, green summer, etc), helping them better understand the process of working at the Youth Union - Association and Legal Club, and giving them useful advice to prepare for the exciting journey of conquering academic awards at the department and school level in the near future.

The School of State Government organizing a welcome party for new students - Glow Overflow

The welcoming ceremony for new students of the School of Government with the theme "Glow Overflow" took place on September 15, 2023, welcoming new students to officially enter the common home of UEH in general and the School of Government (SOG) in particular. The program brings a new light to the University gate, which is wide open to welcome the new K49 students, and the new students were shining brightly with countless colors when entering the second house namely University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. Diverse activities were carried out at the welcome session including sharing about majors and future directions for students; learning experience sharings from alumni as well as experiences about student life; and opportunities to play interesting minigames and win attractive gifts. Besides, there were special cultural exchange performances from upper-class students.

School of Public Finance welcoming new students with the theme "The beginning"

The welcoming ceremony for new K49 students of the School of Public Finance took place successfully on October 6, 2023 with the participation of nearly 200 new students, school and union members, students from Tax Research Group and Apple English Club. The ceremony included the introduction to 03 training programs of the School: Public Finance, Taxation and Customs Administration - Foreign Trade; answering questions from new students; Introducing the Union - Association, Tax Group and Apple Club; minigames; Giving small rewards to those with the highest entrance scores in each admission method; Performing arts from the School of Public Finance team.

School of Economics welcomes new students with the program "Hit the Road"

The program to welcome new K49 students - "Hit The Road" took place on October 15, 2023, attracting nearly 2,000 participants with a variety of interesting activities. Coming to the program helped the new students not only understand the major but also witness the dynamism of the School of Economics with 05 professional committees under the School of Economics Union - Association and 03 affiliated Clubs. Exciting musical performances and direct interactive games attracted students throughout the program. The presence of singer Lena - a young female singer with a friendly and cute style - received an enthusiastic response from the students. The School of Economics awarded 12 scholarships to 12 valedictorians of majors to commend and to encourage their learning spirit.
