Throughout their studies and work, students often face stress and pressures from various sources like grades, jobs, and expenses. Recognizing these challenges, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) collaborates with organizations and individuals to support mental health programs, helping students address these issues in the best possible way.
The Department of Student Affairs (DSA) provides psychological counseling for students dealing with mental health concerns. Collaborating with partners, DSA offers programs to help students prevent and manage psychological issues. Through a structured process, DSA provides mental health support, ensuring students receive positive experiences and solutions for personal challenges.
Understanding the importance of supporting students in overcoming the pressures of a demanding academic environment, UEH recently hosted a practical seminar on "Improving the capacity to identify and care for mental health" This seminar, open to all UEH students, aimed to help students understand and manage their mental well-being after intense study sessions.

To assist students facing uncertainty in planning their futures, DSA also held a talk show titled "Những cuộc hành trình khi mình lạc lối" (Journeys when we are lost), where guest speakers explored the theme of feeling “lost” and offered practical solutions to help students discover their passions and ideals.
The speakers share insights on guiding students out of feeling "lost."
Additionally, UEH hosted Professor Andreas Stoffers as part of the EZ Career Talk series in “Refresh! Get out of your comfort zone!” This event provided students with inspiration and motivation to overcome self-doubt, explore personal growth, and set themselves up for success.

To address the stress from exams and grades, DSA also organized the “Steady Mind – Conquer the Exam Season” counseling program as part of the UEH Student Psychological Support Activities series. This program equips students with knowledge about mental resilience, encouraging proactive mental health care to reduce risks and capitalize on personal growth opportunities.
