The UEH’s scholars led by the Vice President, Prof. Nguyen Trong Hoai visited to the National University of Singapore (NUS), Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (NUS) and Nanyang Technology University (NTU). The delegation has shared experiences and discussed learning outcomes on (1) lecture recruitment criteria of NUS and NTU to promote research activities, (2) doctoral program formula of NUS and NTU, and (3) learning from NTU experience in building funds sponsored by benefactors for researching and developing training programs purposes. Besides, the delegation had chances to study from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy's system of education levels such as MPP, MPA and MPM, core programs and other issues that Vietnam is facing such as urban development, city planning, environment, poverty reduction, administration reforms, etc.
In this trip, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Trong Hoai sent his best regards and invited lecturer of Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy to be the mentors for the education programs of the UEH’s Faculty of Public Policy and Government Administration.
An agreement was signed between the UEH and NUS & NUT on student and staff exchange and joint research. In future, the UEH will invite NTU professors to share their experience in writing methods, reviewing scientific articles and converting articles to ISI on international journals.
This trip helped the UEH delegation gains more experience in training, research and international cooperation with Singapore well–known universities.
