The Signing Ceremony Of Academic Cooperation Agreement Between School Of Accounting (College Of Business UEH) And School Of Finance & International Business, Saxion University Of Applied Sciences, Netherlands

On February 21, 2023 School of Accounting, COB and School of Finance & International Business, Saxion University Of Applied Sciences, Netherlands held the signing ceremony of Academic Cooperation Agreement.

On behalf of School of Accounting COB, there were: Dr. Tran Anh Hoa – Dean, Head/Deputy Head of Department and Program Director and students. On the side of School of Finance & International Business, Saxion University Of Applied Sciences, there were: Mr. Dennis Vossen, Programme Director Finance & Accounting; Ms. Jeanet Nijland, Coordinator Internationalisation; Ms. Ngọc Ngô, Director of Strategic Partnerships.

Based on the signed MOU between UEH and Saxion University of Applied Sciences, School of Accounting COB and School of Finance & International Business, Saxion University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands has discussed international cooperation in education, improving the quality of education to fulfill the mission of bringing learning experience with study abroad opportunities for School of Accounting’s learners. Both units have reached an agreement to sign an Academic Cooperation Agreement (ACA) on a training cooperation program for students of the School of Accounting to study transfer and receive a Bachelor's degree from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, as follows:

Study route 1: Major in Corporate Accounting

2.5 years UEH (semester 1-5) + 1.5 years Saxion (semester 6-8)

6^th semester is under an exchange program; students do not have to pay tuition fees but they have to pay other related costs such as accommodation, insurance, etc.

Study route 2: Major in Corporate Accounting (including Financial Risk Management at UEH)

3 years UEH (semesters 1-6) + 1-year Saxion (semesters 7-8).

During the cooperation agreement period, UEH students participating in the transfer program will have the opportunity to receive other scholarships from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.

Following the signing ceremony, School of Accounting’s students had the opportunity to exchange and discuss with Mr. Dennis Vossen and Ms. Jeanet Nijland about the joint program, and study environment at Saxion University and the Netherlands, …
