On the morning of August 24, 2019, at Room. A205 (59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Ward 6, District 3, HCMC, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) officially held a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement (MOU) between UEH, Hanyang University and Korean Production Association in which School of Banking (SOB) is the beneficiary.
Participating in the signing ceremony, on the side of UEH, there were Prof. Nguyen Dong Phong - President of UEH, Dr. Tran Mai Dong - Head of Research Administration - International Cooperation Department, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Tram Thi Xuan Huong - Dean of SOB, Dr. Hoang Hai Yen - Vice Dean of SOB and all lecturers of SOB. About the Hanyang University and Korean Production Association, there were Prof. David Chang Won Lee and 9 professors from other prestigious universities in Korea.
Hanyang university, a multidisciplinary university, was established in 1939. In 2015, the Hanyang university ranked No. 1 in the number of alumni who are CEOs at companies. In 2017, the Hanyang university ranked 155th in the 2017 QS World University Rankings and had partners in 76 countries. This is also the university that educated the notable football coach- Park Hang Seo.
The cooperation agreement between UEH, Hanyang University and Korean Production Association aims to build sustainable partnerships in the future to serve the mutual interests of research and teaching activities of the two sides. The cooperation agreement deals with the following basic content: promoting training and academic exchanges between researchers; jointly organize international research conferences; exchanging students in business internships in Korea, Vietnam and other projects.
Presenting at the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong, President of UEH believes that the relationship between the two sides will develop sustainably in the future.
The signing ceremony marks an important event in the cooperation between UEH, Hanyang University and Korea Production Association which provides opportunities for lecturers and PhD candidates in research, international publication and exchange programs with Han Yang University and Korea Production Association.
