The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City 's Dynamic Club with the project: Tungtung.vn – The application for sharing multiple-choice online tests exceptionally won the first prize of Dynamic Competition 2017.
On the morning of March 18, 2018, at 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu campus, the National Final Round of the Dynamic Competition 2017, with the topic "Start-up Student - Establishing Future” took place in the Main Hall A.116. The final round attracted more than 1000 students in the Main Hall and a large audience watching live on HTV9-HD.

This year’s final round of Dynamic with the title “Start-up Student - Establishing Future” not only promoted the already existing traditional values, but also disseminates entrepreneurial spirit to the national student community.
With this mission, there has been remarkable innovations within Dynamic: nurture and develop student start-up ideas from the Dynamic clubs of different universities with specific projects, promote team spirits with the combination of multi-profession careers from technology to economics and administration, improve the problem-solving skills for students in the event of industries facing challenges from the 4.0 Revolution.
After more than nine months deploying business projects, the final round of this national contest was where the 4 projects of the Dynamic clubs coming from different universities over the country competing with each other: Strength Finder (National Economics University); Hue Legend Tour (Economics University – Hue University), Research and Design the Air Quality Measurement and Warning System (Can Tho University), Tungtung.vn (Ho Chi Minh city University of Economics).
To become the competition champion, each team rigourously competed in 3 parts. Firstly, teams reported the Dynamic club activities during recent time, development orientation and the Dynamic club consistency in 2018; Secondly, each team announced the project result for the national final round; Thirdly, the teams answered questions from the judging committee.
Each teams from the Northern to Southern regions took turns to present their projects with confidence, enthusiasm, high spirit, and the unique characteristics of their regions, which fascinated the audiences.
The opening team for the competition was the Dynamic Club from the National Economics University (the Northern region) with the project of Strength Finder Educational Complex. This project aims to shape and develop the emotional intelligence ability for the Vietnamese young generation and is the solution for entrepreneurs to search and manage employees suitable with the culture and environment of the entrepreneurs, through practice classes and management application systems.
The team from the Economics University – Hue University Dynamic Club (the Middle region) presented the Hue Legend Tour project. The project includes travelling tours focusing on cultural values, history, and spiritual elements; to bring forward unique experiences, and helps in maintaining Hue traditional values and developing rural economy.
With the special attention to environment, the team from Can Tho University Dynamic Club (Mekong River Delta region) gave birth to the Research and Design the Air Quality Measurement and Warning System project, with the hope of helping with the control of poisonous gas indoors, preventing fire threats caused by gas.
Finally came the team of Ho Chi Minh city University of Economics Dynamic Club (Ho Chi Minh city region) with the Tungtung.vn project. Knowing multiple choices is the leading trend in evaluating the ability of a person in various fields, and the Tungtung.vn application was introduced to the educational market, with the mission of numerizing all contents into multiple-choice form, providing the solution to connect people with the need of sharing test papers, and people who need to practice multiple-tests online.
After the performance of four teams, Mr. Uday expressed that: “As for the competing projects of this year, we are glad to see that they were been able to capture some of the most updated IT and Technology trends including the Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of things, Big Data, etc. Besides the up-to-date strength, the projects also show the sense of community-oriented and that is one of the indicators for a good, successful entrepreneur in the future”
With confidence, determination, passion, and energetic youth, Tungtung.vn team from the UEH Dynamic club convinced the Council of Judges, claiming the First Prize of the 2017 Dynamic competition, a worthy champion with the prize of 100 million VND in cash, champion cup and the ticket to participate in the selection round of 2018 Shark Tank sponsored by Mycafe brand. More importantly, the winning team was awarded with the “DYNAMIC TALENT – SUNTORY PEPSICO”. The prize is a free tour of Japanese companies in April 2018 for six contestants.
The team with the second prize came from the National Economics University Dynamic Club with the prize of 80 million VND, second prize winning cup and the ticket to participate in the selection round of 2018 Shark Tank sponsored by Mycafe brand.
The third prize belonged to the team from the Economics University - Hue University and Can Tho University with the prize of 50 million VND, third prize cup and the ticket to participate in the selection round of 2018 Shark Tank sponsored by Mycafe brand.
Besides, the “Dau tu Dynamic - But pha cung Sting” (Dynamic investment - Innovate with sting) prize was awarded for the best two clubs in shaping, investing and guiding the sustainable development of Dynamic Club, each prize worth 100 million VND and belongs to the Economics University – Hue University Dynamic Club and the Ho Chi Minh city University of Economics.
Student Pham Thi My Linh - President of the Economics University - Hue University Dynamic Club has exceptionally won the prize “DYNAMIC Leader - UEH”, with the prize being 1 scholarship in Master of Business Administration (MBA) awarded by the Western Sydney (the scholarship worth approximately 300 million VND).
“The most value of Dynamic Competition for which UEH ultimately hopes that we and enterprises will together stably maintain entrepreneurial spirit full of knowledge, creativity and ambition for the Vietnamese students contributing to the advancement of the Vietnam economy”, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Hoai emphasized in his speech.
The 2017 Dynamic final round ended, but the start-up spirit emerged within the competition is and has been spreading to a large majority of students all over the country. Let’s hope that the start-up projects grow from the competition will continue to flourish as well as develop beautifully and successfully. “Difficulty is inevitable in work and life, and it is even tougher for young entrepreneurs, but as I have shared before: “Failure is an option, Fear is not.” That is our company’s – Suntory and Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam spirit: “YATTE MINAHARE – Never Give Up!” (Mr.Uday).
