Nearly 5000 job opportunities at HCMC Internship and Job Fair: UEH Career Fair 2022

With more than 42 prestigious enterprises participating, the Ho Chi Minh City Internship and Employment Day organized by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) on April 16 and 17, 2022 has brought thousands of attractive opportunities for workers in the area and the neighboring provinces.

City Internship and Employment Day Ho Chi Minh City (UEH Career Fair) is an annual event held to help potential candidates have the opportunity to access real career opportunities. With the participation of many leading domestic and foreign enterprises, this Festival is a bridge for candidates to directly meet employers, to learn about quality job requirements and to actively seize best-fit career opportunities, at the same time, creating conditions for businesses to promote their brands to society as well as to approach and to recruit high-quality human resources in Ho Chi Minh City and the neighboring provinces.

In the same spirit of initiative and adaptation to the new normal, the Internship and Employment Festival in Ho Chi Minh City in 2022 is organized by the University in a combination of face-to-face at UEH Nguyen Tri Phuong campus and online on the event.cixiu99.com and/or vieclam.cixiu99.com platforms.

Attending the opening ceremony of this Fair, on behalf of UEH, there were Dr. Bui Quang Hung - Vice Rector, Head of the Festival Organizing Committee; MSc. Nguyen Van Duong - Head of Department of Student Affairs, Standing Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Festival; MSc. Nguyen Thanh Su - Deputy Head of Marketing - Communication Department; MSc. Quan Han Xuong - Deputy Head of Department of Facilities together with leaders of UEH Units and leaders of Units of UEH Schools.

Opening remarks, Dr. Bui Quang Hung - Vice President of UEH stated: “University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City is a national key public university, its reputation has been confirmed in Vietnam with our prestigious position among educational and training institutions in the region, especially in the economic sector. During the training process, our University always wishes to connect with businesses to train high-quality human resources with the University for the labor market not only in Vietnam but also globally. UEH invites businesses to participate in the development of training programs of the University; inviting business leaders to participate in extracurricular training courses student reports; organizing recruitment activities to foster interview skills for students and businesses. In addition, the enterprise semester for students is organized to practice, to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned to apply in practice; especially, Internship and Job Days event is regularly organized every year and /or throughout the year to strengthen the connection of our University's high-quality labor force with businesses. Therefore, the organization of Internship and Job Day today is a completely essential event - one of the main important events of UEH University, helping students have opportunities and empowering them to take the initiative and to seize the opportunity to have the best job positions at the most prestigious enterprises in Vietnam and in Ho Chi Minh City”.

With more than 42 enterprises participating in recruitment from the fields of Banking - Finance - Insurance, Securities, Accounting, Auditing, Consulting, Consumer Goods - Food, Technology - E-commerce, Construction - Real Estate, Trade - Import-Export - Logistics, Manufacturing - Raw Materials - Energy, students had the opportunity to approach nearly 5,000 attractive vacancies through direct registration form with recruiters and were interviewed at business booths.

In addition to find out about recruitment information, candidates have the opportunity to exchange, interview, challenge questions and challenges at the company's recruitment booth in both direct and indirect ways.
