Breakthrough progress and impressive achievements in caring for and supporting learners

In recent years, UEH has constantly exploited and applied information technology to the management and operation process to improve service quality, caring, and supporting activities for learners and partners. Promoting digital transformation helps ensure that the needs of learners and partners are optimally addressed. Most notably, in March 2022, UEH deployed services to provide authenticated electronic records so that learners and alumni can receive documents related to their process of study or practice at school (student confirmation, transcripts of study, training...) or ask the school to support and guide how to use services. In addition, the UEH Shuttle Bus service is also deployed to accompany and support learners in transportation. From February to August 2022, UEH expanded more trips from central districts (1, 3, 5, 10, 11, Binh Thanh) and neighboring areas. A fare support policy is also developed to encourage learners to use the UEH Shuttle Bus service towards a green community and to live more responsibly with the environment.

Simultaneously, with the motto of "Students-centered", UEH continues to accompany and provide comprehensive student support services such as: Information support, orientation, employment support, mentoring learning, cross-cultural integration, psychological counseling, anti-sexual harassment, support for learners with disabilities and other emergencies, handling learners' queries and complaints, training activities, ... With the companion from the Department of Student Affairs (DSA), learners at UEH are best facilitated to bring a professional, healthy learning experience and create positive influences so that learners can develop themselves, nurture their passions and have unforgettable student memories. One of the school's regular activities is organizing soft skills training classes (26 classes in 2022), helping to equip students with skills to solve today's complex social problems so that learners can overcome socio-psychological difficulties in life. In addition, DSA always captures unexpected difficult cases to propose timely policies to support, care for and motivate learners and their families during difficult times and illnesses.

In an effort to achieve a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University, activities to improve English ability and spread artistic appreciation values in 2022 are actively invested by UEH in terms of expertise, diverse content, and relevant and practicality for learners. Thence, it helps to build a community that is open-minded and ready to accept the quintessence of many cultural and artistic value systems, understanding multi-dimensional perspectives and different meanings. Starting with face-to-face exchange activities held weekly and monthly at UEH - English Zone - the first English park at UEH to support the formation of the habit of using English as a daily language and help learners easily integrate into a multicultural and multilingual environment. The Acoustic Show concerts are held periodically to help learners improve their English skills and exchange and connect with the community with emotional and professional music performances. In the meantime, UEH Theater - School drama theater was born to maintain and spread cultural, historical, and artistic values for the young generation. With the effective support from Hong Van Drama Theater, learners will enjoy and improvise with famous literary works, historical stories, folklore, and contemporary literature domestically and abroad to expand their knowledge about art and apply it to the real world, applying technology to spread and enhance artistic values.

With the active coordination of UEH functional units and member colleges, activities for learners are always invested with quality and attract a lot of attention, response, and active participation, such as: The Olympic competition in Marxist-Leninist sciences, Ho Chi Minh Ideology 2022, Orientation Week, Cultural Festival Noi Vong Tay Lon 2022: BESIDE U, UEH Student Traditional Sports Festival 2022, "Student Singing UEH Contest 2022, ... With the strength of connection, on the journey of 47 years of development, UEH has strived to create a community that is constantly connected by positive values of knowledge with more than 30,700 students, 240,000 alumni, 500 entrepreneurs, prestigious professional associations, and 125 leading international educational organizations individuals, and partners, taking sustainable development as the core towards the community.

2022 marks the upgrade of the CRM Management System to take care of partners, multi-channel learners, and the Knowledge Warehouse data portal. Understanding the importance of support services for learners and partners, the CRM System and Knowledge Warehouse have provided and searched for information and integrated all official information channels of the school, helping to exploit data and taking care and supporting all needs of learners - partners. With the participation of 14 core units of UEH, the CRM system has aggregated and stored information and cooperation contents of 540 partners, organizations, and businesses related to UEH, towards an environment that takes care and supports learners and partners professionally with high quality.
